Here is is almost July and I don't have my textbook list for Fall up. (Bad prof, no biscuit!) I am teaching a World Literature--really Non-Western Lit--class this fall and so I am soliciting ideas for the reading list. Got any?
So far I am planning on using Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart, The Pillow Book of Lady Murasaki, Dream of the Red Chamber, First They Killed My Father by Loung Ung, Family by Pa Chin. Need something by Jose Borges, and something from the Middle East or maybe we should just watch "Kandahar"....
So ideas anyone?
